Toumani Camara Tallies A Double-Double Versus Grizzlies
1 year agoPhoenix Suns power forward Toumani Camara celebrated a double-double Saturday, finishing a blowout victory over Memphis in the Summer League with a game-high 20 points and 10 rebounds. It's the first double-double in four Summer League appearances for Camara, who was the 52nd pick in this year's draft. He has struggled to get his shots fall throughout the competition and Saturday's outing wasn't any different, with Camara finishing 4-for-11 from the field and 1-for-4 from outside. The 23-year-old Belgian did, however, impress with his free-throw shooting, missing only once at the line with 12 attempts. Camara also had a pair of blocks and one assist. Having averaged 16.2 points and 7.0 rebounds in the Summer League, Camara has played well, but it's going to be difficult for him to crack into the Suns rotation.
