Tony Pollard Gets Back On The Practice Field
3 years agoDallas Cowboys running back Tony Pollard (foot) returned to practice for the first time on Thursday since tearing his left plantar fascia on Dec. 2. Pollard stretched with his teammates and rejoined them on the field after warming up with the director of rehabilitation. He's likely to be listed as limited on the final injury report on Thursday, but it's progress for Pollard after he missed the Week 14 win over the Washington Football Team. The 24-year-old isn't a lock to play this Sunday against the New York Giants just yet, though, and he could even have his snaps dialed back if he's active. On the other hand, teammate Ezekiel Elliott (knee) says he's moving past his nagging knee injury and feels more explosive. Pollard is trending up, but he's looking like a shaky RB3/flex if he returns to the field this Sunday.
