5 years agoHouston Astros infielder/outfielder Tony Kemp is expected to be designated for assignment, according to Jake Kaplan. Shortstop Carlos Correa (ribs) is scheduled to be activated from the injured list shortly, so they will need to clear a roster spot. Kemp is hitting .227/.308/.417 with seven home runs and four stolen bases this season with Houston. He's someone that is quick and can play multiple positions, so many teams could have interest in him if he's cut by Houston.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
