7 years agoToronto Maple Leafs center Tomas Plekanec scored a goal and added an assist in the Game 6 win over the Boston Bruins. Plekanec has improved vastly over the course of this series, much to the delight of Maple Leafs fans. Plekanec centered the Leafs third line in the wake of Nazem Kadri’s return to the lineup, but he has still shared in the responsibility of shutting down Boston’s top line. Plekanec’s goal on Monday night marks his fourth point in four games. In terms of DFS, starting Plekanec will come with sizeable risk, but he could be a sneaky start for Game 7.--Kevin Acorn
