Tom Brady's Pick-Six Ousts Patriots
5 years agoNew England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady completed 20 of 37 passes for 209 yards and one interception in the team's crushing 20-13 loss to the Titans in the Wild Card Round. Brady was crisp early, passing for 149 yards in the first half but the offense failed to punch in a touchdown from the 1-yard line and had to settle for a field goal. Leaving those points on the board was uncharacteristic for a Brady-run offense in the playoffs and it ended up costing them the game. The Patriots had one final chance to tie the game with a handful of seconds left but Brady's pass was tipped and ran back for a Titans touchdown. Once the Super Bowl concludes, all eyes will be on the 42-year-old future Hall of Famer, who will become an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his career. Brady's numbers were on the decline this season but plenty can be blamed on a mediocre offensive line and a rotating cast of injured receivers. Prepare yourself for endless speculation on where Brady will play next season.
