T.J. Edwards Ruled Out for Week 11
The Chicago Bears ruled out linebacker T.J. Edwards (hand, hamstring) from the Week 11 contest on Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. Edwards is dealing with multiple injuries and was unable to practice all week. The 29-year-old will miss a second straight game, although Chicago's defense/special teams unit should still be considered a top-10 fantasy option this weekend against an inexperienced and turnover-prone young Vikings quarterback in J.J. McCarthy. Edwards has been productive for the Bears' defense this year when he's been on the field, collecting 31 total tackles and three pass breakups in five games played. Chicago's defense currently leads the NFL with 20 total takeaways, which matches them up nicely this week with Minnesota, a team that is tied for second in the league with 16 giveaways.
