Tim Stutzle Shines In Historic Comeback
2 years agoOttawa Senators forward Tim Stutzle led the charge with four points as the team shocked Calgary with a very late comeback on Monday. The Senators produced the latest multi-goal comeback in franchise history after Drake Batherson sparked the rally with a goal 17:46 into the third period. Alex DeBrincat added one at the 18:32 mark and Stutzle eventually made it 4-3 1:55 into overtime. He added three assists in total to his 23rd goal of the season. It's his second four-point effort in three games. The German sensation leads the Senators in goals and sits just one point behind Brady Tkachuk on the overall scoring charts with 53 points in 48 games. Considering his recent form, Stutzle looks ready to fly past the Ottawa captain soon.
