Though he weathered an early storm from co-main-event opponent Max Griffin on Saturday, Tim Means was unable to do enough in 15 minutes of action to earn a split decision (28-29, 29-28, 27-30). In 15 minutes of action, Means out-struck Griffin by nearly 87 total strikes but was not as damaging with his strikes as Griffin was. Means did score three takedowns, though, and was able to keep it close in the second and third rounds of action. Means falls to 0-2 after winning three straight fights.--Matt Bricker
