Tigers And Angels Postponed Wednesday

The scheduled contest on Wednesday between the Detroit Tigers and Los Angeles Angels has been postponed due to thunderstorms in the Detroit area. The contest will be made up on Thursday as part of a straight doubleheader with the first game starting at 1:10 pm ET with the second contest kicking off 40 minutes after the conclusion of the first game. Former Angel Michael Lorenzen was scheduled to pitch for the Tigers with the Angels countering with left-hander Patrick Sandoval. It's likely both pitchers will start the first game of Thursday's twin bill while fantasy managers would be wise to pull any Tigers or Angels players from their lineups on Wednesday.
