Tiger Woods Has Roller Coaster Genesis Outing
6 years agoTiger Woods' second start of 2019 wasn't short on drama. After starting the Genesis Open with two lackluster rounds, Woods electrified golf fans with a sizzling third-round 65. He kept the momentum going in the final round with three birdies in his first seven holes and climbed into a tie for fifth. The combination of difficult conditions at Riviera and fatigue eventually caught up with the 14-time major champion and Woods faded down the back stretch, falling into a T15 finish with a final-round 72. Despite the disappointing Sunday finish, he'll carry plenty of positive momentum into this week's WGC-Mexico Championship.
