Ottawa Senators defenseman Thomas Chabot inked an eight-year, $64 million deal to remain a Senator on Thursday. The 22-year-old, who broke through with a 55-point (14 goals, 41 assists) sophomore season in 2018-2019, still has one year remaining on his entry-level contract. Despite missing 12 games due to injury, Chabot still managed to finish 10th among all NHL blueliners in scoring and has established himself as one of the top young rearguards the league has to offer. Considering Chabot is getting taken on average with the 95th pick in Yahoo! fantasy drafts, the Quebec native could be a draft-day bargain for the second consecutive season.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
