2 years agoOttawa Senators defenseman Thomas Chabot has been ruled out for two weeks with an upper-body injury. Considering the timeline, the talented blue-liner could be finished for the season, with Ottawa scheduled to play its last game on April 13. Chabot has pushed himself to 41 points with a recent scoring surge, easily positioning himself as the team's most prolific defenseman. Jake Sanderson follows with 28 points, and his numbers could now get a nice boost, as the 20-year-old will be taking over Chabot's role on the first power-play unit.
