Thomas Bryant Has Career Night On Saturday

Washington Wizards center Thomas Bryant dominated against the Phoenix Suns on Saturday, scoring 31 points on perfect 14-for-14 shooting and grabbing 13 rebounds. Wilt Chamberlain is the only player in NBA history to have a perfect shooting night with at least 15 field goal attempts, so Bryant came really close to joining elite company. The second-year center from Indiana was done well in the absence of Dwight Howard (back), but he generally doesn't play much. He logged a career-high 36 minutes on Saturday, with the game needing three overtimes to decide the winner. Howard will be out for a couple of months, so this won't be the last time we hear about Bryant. Markieff Morris, who had 20 points on Saturday before fouling out, also benefits from Howard's absence.
