Thomas Bryant Gets Injured Late On Friday
2 years agoLos Angeles Lakers center Thomas Bryant suffered a shoulder injury late in Friday's 134-130 loss to Charlotte. While going up for a shot, Bryant was hit on his right arm by Charlotte's Mason Plumlee and he left the court in pain after logging 33 minutes of action. The 25-year-old had eight points and a game-high 13 rebounds in the contest. Bryant is now under evaluation to determine the severity of the injury. The team will be desperate to get some good news, as frontcourt depth will become an issue if Bryant gets sidelined. He has been filling in for Anthony Davis (foot) lately, posting some solid numbers. Wenyen Gabriel would be the next man up at the center position if Bryant misses time.
