Teddy Bridgewater - Week 14 Outlook for Fantasy Football
3 years agoDenver Broncos quarterback Teddy Bridgewater has been more inconsistent of late, and his play has fluctuated wildly from week to week. Per Football Outsiders, Bridgewater has 473 DYAR -- defense-adjusted yards above replacement -- through 12 games, averaging out to slightly below 40 DYAR per game. He should be able to be more efficient in Week 14 against the Detroit Lions than he was in last week's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, but fantasy managers shouldn't be expecting 300-plus yards and four touchdowns from Bridgewater. Most teams haven't needed to throw much on Detroit -- they've seen the fourth-fewest pass attempts -- and the Denver offense is at their best when everything runs through their ground game. Despite a good on-paper matchup at home, Bridgewater a mediocre QB2 option in fantasy.
