Teddy Bridgewater Throws Two TDs In Return From Concussion
3 years agoDenver Broncos quarterback Teddy Bridgewater (concussion), who was questionable coming into the Week 5 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, was cleared from the concussion protocol and went 24-for-38 for 288 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in the 27-19 loss on Sunday. The interception, which he forced into coverage on a fourth-down play with time expiring late in the final quarter, was Bridgewater's first of the season. The 28-year-old has been taking plenty of shots deep down the field early this year, and he was forced to throw often in this one with Denver trailing all day. Bridgewater doesn't have a ton of fantasy upside, especially with Jerry Jeudy (ankle) still out, but he'll give you a solid floor on a weekly basis as a QB2.
