Teddy Bridgewater Has A Great Matchup In Week 2
3 years agoDenver Broncos quarterback Teddy Bridgewater didn't exactly raise eyebrows in the Week 1 win over the New York Giants, but he got the job done by going 28-for-36 for 264 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions. Bridgewater prefers short passes as opposed to challenging defenses deep down the field, as his longest completion in Week 1 went for 25 yards. He'll be facing a Jacksonville Jaguars defense that allowed Texans quarterback Tyrod Taylor to throw for 291 yards and two touchdowns in Week 1. It's a great matchup, but Bridgewater also may not have to air it out to win the game, and he'll also be without No. 2 receiver Jerry Jeudy (ankle) for the next four to six weeks. Bridgewater will be a solid QB2 in superflex leagues, but he doesn't carry enough upside to be a strong QB1 streaming option.
