Teams Have Serious Concern Over Tua Tagovailoa's Durability
Tua Tagovailoa's injury history, and their responses indicated plenty of worry about the short-term and long-term future of the left-handed thrower. A handful of red flags jump out when discussing Tagovailoa because of multiple injuries during his college career, including his hip, surgeries on both ankles, a sprained knee and surgery on his hand. On top of that, interested teams haven't been able to have their own doctors take a look at him during the draft evaluation process, although Tua's doctors continue to say his hip is fully healed and not at risk of re-injury. There's still a chance that Tagovailoa comes off the board within the first 10 picks, but he's become a pretty big risk as a franchise signal-caller because of his medical history.
