Taurean Prince Pops Up With A 35-Point Effort
2 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves forward Taurean Prince came out of nowhere to hit a season-high 35 points Monday against the Knicks, leading the team to a 140-134 road victory. Anthony Edwards (ankle) missed a second consecutive game, so there have suddenly been a lot more shooting opportunities for others and Prince took full advantage of it on Monday. He finished a fantastic 8-for-8 from deep and missed only one of his 13 total attempts from the field. Price, whose career-high stands at 38 points, completed his damage with five rebounds and two assists. The 28-year-old will hope to replicate his Monday's effort against his former team, the Hawks, on Wednesday, although Prince is set to lose most of his fantasy appeal if Edwards returns.
