2 years agoBuffalo Sabres forward Tage Thompson (undisclosed) is regarded as questionable for Saturday's game versus the Islanders. He was involved in a collision with New Jersey's Timo Meier Friday and was forced to miss part of the game with an unspecified ailment. "It was clear and evident he could've not played the rest of that game the way he was moving," said Sabres head coach Don Granato after the contest. "Two versions of Tage today, one was completely healthy and then all of a sudden, that happened that he was half speed from that point forward." Before the incident with Meier, Thompson was able to notch his 44th goal of the season. He's the team's leading scorer with 89 points amassed across 71 games, and the Sabres have a huge gap to fill in the lineup if Thompson is unavailable.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
