Buffalo Sabres center Tage Thompson managed to extend his point streak to six games Wednesday, scoring the team's lone goal in a 4-1 defeat to Ottawa. He tied the game with a power-play tally in the second period, but the slumping Sabres simply couldn't compete. Thompson's scoring run includes five goals and three assists. He has been neutralized just once in his past 10 outings, and with 12 goals and 10 assists to his name, Thompson is one of only six players in the league with double figures in both goals and assists. His 22 goals since April 1 are tied with Connor McDavid for the most in the league.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
