2 years agoBuffalo Sabres forward Tage Thompson is nursing an upper-body injury and is considered day-to-day. He's in danger of missing his first game of the season Wednesday versus Carolina. The 25-year-old has been a beast for Buffalo in 2022-23 with 34 goals and 68 points in 49 games. He's one of only four players in the league this season to hit the 30-mark in both goals and assists ahead of the All-Star break. With Dylan Cozens (undisclosed) also battling an injury, the Sabres could be without their top two centers on Wednesday.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
