1 year agoBuffalo Sabres center Tage Thompson (upper body) will be out week-to-week. Thompson was injured in Tuesday's contest against Boston, and it was initially unclear how much time he will miss due to the injury, but know we know that Buffalo expects to have him back in less than two months. "Less than a couple of months is what's expected," Sabres head coach Don Granato said on Wednesday. "It's more week-to-week. I don't have a targeted date for him yet." With Thompson out of commission, Dylan Cozens could get a chance to center the first line. Alex Tuch (upper body) is expected to be back Friday, which would allow Cozens to shift to center after skating on Thompson's right wing.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
