T-Wolves Trade Up, Select Wendell Moore Jr. 26th Overall
2 years agoThe Minnesota Timberwolves traded up to the 26th overall pick in the 2022 NBA draft, sending the Houston Rockets a draft-pick package that included the 29th overall pick. The 'Wolves used the 26th overall pick to take Duke forward Wendell Moore Jr., a versatile wing who could have a chance to play meaningful minutes for the team as soon as this season. Moore spent three seasons at Duke before declaring for the NBA. He stands at 6-foot-5 and he'll turn 21 years old this September. He was extremely efficient for the Blue Devils this past year, shooting 50% from the field, 80.5% from the free-throw line and 41.3% from beyond the arc while averaging 13.4 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game.
