Washington Capitals forwards T.J. Oshie (lower body) and Sonny Milano (upper body) have both been ruled out for the club's final three games before the upcoming Christmas break. Oshie scored a goal and skated 18:51 of ice time in Saturday's loss to the Nashville Predators but has largely struggled this season with just two goals, four points, and 40 shots on goal across 21 games. Milano hasn't appeared since getting injured in a Dec. 10 contest against the Chicago Blackhawks. The 27-year-old has collected four goals and eight points across 23 games on the season but has just 20 shots on goal in that time. Capitals rookie Ivan Miroshnichenko could fill one of the holes for his NHL debut on Wednesday against the New York Islanders.--Brenton Kemp
