7 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers point guard T.J. McConnell got the crowd going as he posted a triple-double and led the Sixers to their fourth straight win. He shot 5-for-11 from the field for 10 points to go with 10 rebounds and 11 assists, but the cherry on top was the six steals. McConnell is a multi-category contributor, but he unfortunately is stuck behind Rookie Of the Year candidate Ben Simmons on the depth chart. Like Simmons, he also doesn’t shoot the three-ball, so he is stuck on the second unit. He could be a streaming option in potential blowout games when he could get extra run in garbage time, but his 37 minutes on Monday is a complete aberration.--Jared Hong
