T.J. Hockenson Going On Injured Reserve
T.J. Hockenson (ankle) is going on Injured Reserve, which will end his rookie season. With just four games to play in a lost season, it makes sense for Detroit to shut Hockenson down. The 22-year-old posted his best numbers in the season opener, going for six catches, 131 yards and a touchdown. He never went over 56 yards in a game after that and had just one more touchdown. Despite the letdown after a strong Week 1, Hockenson has a bright future and should eventually become a TE1 for fantasy owners if the position remains a wasteland. Jesse James and Logan Thomas should hold down the fort the rest of the way, but neither tight end is appealing in fantasy, especially with David Blough at quarterback.
