Still Unlikely Cooper Kupp Returns To Rams
Cooper Kupp returning in 2025, but like head coach Sean McVay, he said it's unlikely. "There is a scenario, but when you get into probabilities that would be the least likely. I don't want to tell you 'no' today and then next week he's a Ram. You see what we're trying to do. We're working to try to find a partner and a next chapter for Cooper and ourselves," Snead said. The 31-year-old Kupp is due $29.7 million in the final two years of his deal, so to facilitate a trade, the Rams are likely going to have to eat a large chunk of that cost. If it's looking unlikely for a trade, L.A. could straight up release him as well. After winning the NFL's receiving Triple Crown in 2021, Kupp hasn't played more than 12 games in a season due to injuries. He could still have plenty of fantasy appeal on a different team, but his 2025 fantasy value will depend on where he lands.
