2 years agoSan Diego Padres rookie right-hander Steven Wilson will serve as the opener on Thursday against the division-rival Los Angeles Dodgers. Nelson will be making his first career major-league start in this one, but he's unlikely to be a realistic fantasy streamer in what should be a short outing. He's made 47 relief appearances in 2022, posting a 2.88 ERA (4.14 FIP), a 1.04 WHIP, one save and a 50:18 K:BB in 50 innings pitched for the Friars. The 28-year-old has maxed out at three innings in relief this year, so don't expect him to go deep in this one against a tough opponent.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
