6 months agoNationals pitcher Stephen Strasburg had a fine night against Atlanta on Thursday, striking out seven Braves on his way to picking up his twelfth victory of the year. But the 30-year-old Strasburg saved the best for his bat, going three for three at the dish while scoring two runs and driving in five. After leading off the third inning with a single, before later coming around to score, Strasburg came up to bat once again in the frame, crushing a 420-foot three-run home run off of Braves reliever, Touki Touissant. Strasburg would later single in two more runs and with three hits on the night, doubled his total for the season.--Nicklaus Gaut - RotoBaller
