Sony Michel Powers Patriots To Victory
6 years agoNew England Patriots running back Sony Michel carried the ball 24 times for 129 yards with three touchdowns in the Patriots 41-28 win over the Chargers. Michel was fed early and often, posting all three of his scores in the first half as the Patriots blew the game open. He became only the second Patriot rookie running back in franchise history to score a touchdown in the postseason and the offense was humming with Michel in the center of the action. The Patriots feature a Hall of Fame quarterback but the offense is at its best when Michel is healthy and getting the lion's share of the carries. Despite the fantastic performance, Michel will be only the third ranked running back in DFS tournaments behind the Rams Todd Gurley and the Saints Alvin Kamara heading into championship weekend next week in the NFL.
