Sonny Gray Could Be Bumped From Rotation
New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone isn't ruling out removing starting pitcher Sonny Gray from the rotation. Gray allowed eight hits and seven earned runs in just 2 2/3 innings against the lowly Orioles on Wednesday to raise his ERA for the year to 5.56. A career-high 3.92 BB/9 isn't helping his cause. It's an understatement to say that Gray is too risky to rely on in mixed formats right now.
