2 years agoPittsburgh Penguins center Sidney Crosby continued his success in the playoffs by starting off with a hat trick in Game 1 versus the Philadelphia Flyers. The battle of the Keystone state got off to a very one-sided start, as the Penguins put up seven goals while allowing none in the series opener. This level of production likely won’t be sustained throughout the playoffs, but it’s a good sign for the Penguins, who are seeking their third straight Stanley Cup. He also chipped in with four shots on goal along with eight faceoffs won, which should be no surprise since he finished No. 2 in the league for faceoffs won.--Tom Vecchio - RotoBaller
