Shohei Ohtani Not Starting Thursday
2 years agoLos Angeles Angels designated hitter Shohei Ohtani is not in the starting lineup on Thursday against the Texas Rangers. It looks to be just a normal day of rest for the 28-year-old two-way superstar. In 16 games this month, Ohtani has gone 16-for-61 (.262) with four home runs, seven RBI and nine runs scored. He's scheduled to start on the mound against the Minnesota Twins on Friday. Mike Trout will serve as the DH and bat second on Thursday, while Magneuris Sierra gets the start in center field and hits ninth in the batting order. Sierra will be a DFS option to avoid in the nine-hole for the Halos. Trout, well, is usually in a lot of starting lineups each and every day.
