5 months agoThe New York Mets trailed 1-0 for the majority of Wednesday night's game against the Atlanta Braves at SunTrust Park. In the sixth, however, they took the lead after scoring twice. Manager Mickey Callaway opted to go with reliever Seth Lugo, fresh off winning NL Reliever of the Month for July. The 29-year-old suffered a meltdown, managing just one out while getting charged with five runs on five hits and a walk. It was his worst performance in some time and ultimately what caused the Mets to suffer a second consecutive defeat in Atlanta and third consecutive altogether.--Ricky Delgado - RotoBaller
