9 months agoMilwaukee Brewers manager Craig Counsell said he envisions second base being a "shared" position with candidates Hernan Perez, Cory Spangenberg and Tyler Saladino being candidates. Prospects Mauricio Dubon and Keston Hiura are also on the horizon in the minor leagues. That's if the team doesn't sign an established second baseman before the season starts. Spangenberg could see the most time at the keystone against right-handers since he bats left-handed, but he hit just .235/.298/.362 with seven home runs and 25 RBI in limited time with the Friars in 2018 and he doesn't offer much fantasy upside, especially if he's not an everyday player.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
