1 year agoPhiladelphia Flyers center Sean Couturier sat out Monday's practice with an undisclosed injury. According to Flyers head coach John Tortorella, Couturier is "banged up," and the injury isn't related to his previous back problem, which kept the veteran centerman sidelined for the entire 2022-23 campaign. The latter part of the statement is great news, but it's still going to be a major blow for Philadelphia if Couturier can't get himself game-ready for Tuesday's tilt against the Canucks. The 30-year-old has tallied an assist and three shots on goal with a plus-three rating through the first two games of the season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
