Philadelphia Flyers center Sean Couturier won't need surgery to fix a back issue and the team considers him week-to-week. The 29-year-old already had back surgery in February, which ended his 2021-22 campaign early, so it's great news that he doesn't need to go under the knife again. Couturier managed to produce six goals and 17 points in 29 games last term before his campaign was cut short by injury. He'll be expected to do much better in 2022-23 once he's healthy, with Claude Giroux having moved on and a big eight-year extension taking effect.--Taavi Pailk
