The Seattle Seahawks have requested permission to interview Detroit Lions passing-game coordinator Tanner Engstrand for their vacant offensive-coordinator position, according to a source. Engstrand is also scheduled to meet with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for the same position and interviewed for the New England Patriots' offensive-coordinator job last week before they hired Alex Van Pelt on Thursday. Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson, who was a top head-coaching candidate for multiple NFL teams, is sticking around for another year, but that doesn't mean he won't lose a valuable assistant this offseason. Engstrand began his NFL coaching career in 2021 with the Lions and last served as an offensive coordinator in 2011-12 at the University of San Diego.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
