Seahawks Hiring Klint Kubiak As Offensive Coordinator
The Seattle Seahawks are hiring Klint Kubiak as their offensive coordinator, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Kubiak is viewed as a bright, young coach in NFL circles, but his future with New Orleans was uncertain as the Saints plan to bring in a new coaching staff. The 37-year-old has coaching experience in college and the pros, including stints as an NFL offensive coordinator with the Vikings and Saints. He has also held positions with the Broncos and 49ers. Kubiak, who also interviewed with the Browns this offseason before they hired Tommy Rees, was the Seahawks' top choice to replace Ryan Grubb, according to Rapoport. The search and hiring process was reportedly "exhaustive," but in the end, Mike Macdonald makes a key addition to his staff.
