Scoot Henderson Returns To Starting Unit Without Restrictions
1 year agoPortland Trail Blazers point guard Scoot Henderson will rejoin the starting lineup on Monday versus Chicago and reportedly won't have any minutes restrictions. He's come off the bench in three of the past five games, averaging only 25.4 minutes. The 20-year-old rookie has seen 30.9 minutes as a starter across the season, scoring 13.6 points in the role and handing out 5.7 assists. The Bulls are mediocre at best defensively, so it's going to be exciting to see what Henderson can do now that he's back in a starting role. The lineup change pushes Dalano Banton to the bench, which is quite unfortunate for him after he's had a few really strong games lately. Anfernee Simons, Kris Murray, Toumani Camara, and Deandre Ayton make up the rest of the starting unit.

Scoot Henderson Unavailable Tuesday
2 days agoPortland Trail Blazers guard Scoot Henderson (concussion) will be absent for a second consecutive game on Tuesday against the Atlanta Hawks. He must clear concussion protocol before being eligible to return to the court. Due to Henderson's absence, Dalano Banton and Matisse Thybulle could pick up extra shifts in the rotation. However, Portland relied heavily on its starters in Sunday's game against the New York Knicks, with only a combined 31 minutes shared between Banton and Thybulle.

Scoot Henderson Out On Sunday
4 days agoPortland Trail Blazers guard Scoot Henderson (concussion) won't play on Sunday against the Knicks. He's now in concussion protocol, although his return to the floor could hinge on Portland's ability to earn a Play-In spot. With Anfernee Simons (forearm) questionable, the Blazers could be even more thin in the backcourt. But regardless of Simons' availability, Dalano Banton could see some meaningful minutes.

Scoot Henderson Back In Action On Thursday
1 month agoPortland Trail Blazers guard Scoot Henderson (ankle) is available ahead of Thursday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers. Henderson was able to fully practice on Wednesday and is ready to play again after sitting out the final game before the All-Star break. Henderson certainly isn't the most consistent fantasy option, but he did have a solid stretch of play earlier this month. Fantasy managers who have Henderson rostered can get him active in their lineups ahead of tip-off on Thursday.

Scoot Henderson Listed As Questionable For Thursday
1 month agoPortland Trail Blazers guard Scoot Henderson (ankle) may be out for a second consecutive game on Thursday against the Los Angeles Lakers, as the team has listed him as questionable on the injury report. Henderson has been a full participant in practice leading up to the game, suggesting that he is trending in the right direction. However, if Henderson remains on the shelf, Dalano Banton should take on an additional workload. He tallied 14 points and five assists in 31 minutes off the bench when Henderson exited the lineup on Feb. 12 against the Denver Nuggets.
