Detroit Lions tight end Sam LaPorta heads into Week 7's matchup against Minnesota with questions surrounding his usage. His route share dropped to 56% last week, even before the Lions took control of the game, which raises concerns. Overall this season, LaPorta's target share (9.2%) and yards per route run (1.79) haven't lived up to expectations. His limited opportunities have come from Detroit leaning more on the run game and Jameson Williams' usage. That said, LaPorta remains a viable option against a Vikings defense that ranks ninth in fantasy points allowed to tight ends.
