Sam Hubbard Put On Injured Reserve
4 years agoThe Cincinnati Bengals placed starting defensive end Sam Hubbard (elbow) on Injured Reserve on Thursday after he suffered a left elbow injury in the Week 5 loss to the Ravens. The team also lost defensive tackle D.J. Reader to a season-ending quadriceps injury. Hubbard will miss at least three weeks and won't be eligible to return until Week 10 against the Steelers, with Cincy having their bye in Week 9. He's the fourth defensive lineman on IR for the team, joining Reader, Mike Daniels and Renell Wren. The 25-year-old has a sack, two forced fumbles and 23 tackles so far this season. Even against a slow-paced, run-first Colts offense in Week 6, fantasy managers should be avoiding the Bengals Defense.
