Sam Ehlinger Throws For 60 Yards In Blowout Loss
Indianapolis Colts quarterback Sam Ehlinger took over for Nick Foles (ribs) when the latter exited their Week 17 game against the New York Giants in the second quarter after a sack by Kayvon Thibodeaux. However, Ehlinger wasn't much of a help for the struggling Colts. While he went 9-for-14 in passes, he only gained 60 yards for an average of 4.3 per completion. The 24-year-old added 12 rushing yards on one attempt. However, Ehlinger did complete the Colts' only touchdown in the 38-10 blowout when he found Michael Pittman Jr. in the end zone for a six-yard pass. It remains to be seen if Foles or Ehlinger will be starting for Indianapolis in their season-ender against the Houston Texans next week. But either way, it's best to stay away from both players when looking for a quarterback for your fantasy roster.
