1 year agoSam Burns comes into the U.S. Open off a missed cut at the RBC Canadian Open last week. Burns has been boom-or-bust over the past few months, recording top-20 finishes in all of his last four made cuts. However, Burns has missed three cuts in his last five starts, including a bad showing at the PGA Championship in May. Burns could struggle at another major championship this week, especially with his struggles to stay in the fairway. Burns is under the tour average in driving accuracy percentage, hitting only 57.62% of fairways.
