3 years agoThe Florida Panthers re-signed forward Sam Bennett to a four-year, $17.6 million contract on Monday. The 25-year-old, acquired at the trade deadline from Calgary last season, was a few days from becoming a restricted free agent. Bennett is coming off an excellent 10-game debut in his new sweater last season - posting 15 points (six goals, nine assists), a plus-12 rating, 39 shots and 29 hits with Florida to close out the regular season. The Ontario native should be considered a very attractive mid-round selection in upcoming fantasy drafts as he provides value as a strong cross-category producer.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
