7 months agoKansas City Royals catcher Salvador Perez (elbow) has progressed to the point where he can start catching side sessions as long as he doesn't do any throwing. Perez is rehabbing from Tommy John surgery and will not be an option in redraft leagues at all in 2019. At the thinnest fantasy position, Perez should be an attractive backstop next year if he is fully ready for the start of the regular season. The 29-year-old has sacrificed contact for power the last several seasons, and he's hit at least 21 bombs in each of the last four years.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
