8 months agoThe Washington Nationals activated first baseman Ryan Zimmerman from the injured list on Friday and optioned outfielder Michael A. Taylor to make room on the active roster. Zimmerman will be splitting time at first base with fellow infielders Howie Kendrick and Matt Adams, dinging all three players' fantasy value. Of the three, only Kendrick, who could also see time in the outfield and second base as well, is potentially roster-worthy in standard leagues. As for Taylor, he has been limited to 85 plate appearances in just 43 games this season despite being healthy, with a .211/.277/.276 line. No fantasy league, including dynasties, should have the 28-year-old on a roster.--Nate Green - RotoBaller
