Washington Nationals first baseman Ryan Zimmerman has been activated from the disabled list. He had been on the shelf since May with an oblique injury. Zimmerman has struggled when healthy in 2018, hitting just .217 with five home runs and 16 RBI. Despite the full bill of health, he is not in the team's lineup on Friday. With Washington having players such as Mark Reynolds and Matt Adams, Zimmerman is much more of a platoon option rather than an everyday player. Zimmerman will still get his starts, but he isn't a must-own in 10 or 12 man leagues.--Dan Fappiano
