Ryan Weber Struggles Mightily Against Indians
6 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Ryan Weber dropped to 1-1 Wednesday, after allowing seven runs, over four innings, while surrendering eight hits, and walking and striking out two apiece against the Cleveland Indians. The 28-year-old managed just 50 strikes in 82 pitches, with just four swinging strikes, while allowing a run in every inning he pitched. Just his second start of the season, Weber likely won't have to make another start for Boston, and Nathan Eovaldi (elbow) could be return to the rotation sometime in early-to-mid June. In any event, if Weber gets his number called again, it's a safe bet that he won't be worth streaming or rostering in DFS.
